All about the St. George Children’s Museum

If you are looking for a museum that provides engaging and vibrant activities to kids, then the St. George Children’s Museum is the best place to visit. The museum provides activities that are not only entertaining, but educational as well, helping your kids to learn more and enhance their imagination as well as their creativity.

The Vision

The vision of the museum is to fulfill its mission to welcome all kids in the place and encourage them to appreciate the value of exploration and play. In order to achieve this, the organization that runs the museum will seek a creative space that can help to develop the confidence among the kids who are often too excited to learn more about the world and everything that is going on around them.

Values

The values of the St. George Children’s Museum are dedicated to serving all of the kids as well as their families within the community. They value excellence in all of the museum endeavors and they fully recognize it as a key to achieving their vision and mission.

Furthermore, they also give importance to their collaboration and partnerships with all aspects within the community. The museum also gives value to the innovation as well as the creativity of promoting the experience and growth of young kids.

Admission

There are actually no charges and fees that visitors must pay in order to get inside the museum. This is the organization’s gift to the community. However, they do accept donations and they recognize this as vital in the maintenance of the museum and in keeping it in proper running condition. Thus, they appreciate every donation they will receive from the community. However, they would like to stress out that visitors should not feel obligated to give every time they pay a visit.

Important Reminders

Kids must be supervised when inside the museum and the adult who will give supervision should be at least 18 years old. No child will be permitted to get in without being accompanied by an adult.

For group visits, adequate adult supervision is required for the entire group. There should be one adult for every four to five kids. Adults who want to visit the museum without any kids are required to leave a valid ID. A museum guide will be available to escort you all throughout the museum building. During operating hours, the museum will not be able to reserve any space for exhibits or for the exclusive use of any group.

Volunteers

If you have some extra time, you can be a volunteer at the museum. The volunteers are important for the overall operation of the museum so if you want to help make a difference in the lives of the kids in the community, then contribute some of your free hours as a volunteer.

As a volunteer, you are expected to help in arts and crafts, in attending to the visitors, assisting the kids, cleaning and organizing the museum, and many more. If you have some special skills that you want to share, the museum is the best avenue for this.
