St George Parade of Homes

This years St George Parade of Homes is going to be one for the books. Featuring 28 custom built homes ranging from $300,000 up to $8,000,000! So if you’re looking for reasonably affordable, mixed with ultra-luxury then this years St George Parade of Homes is going to be exactly what you’re looking for. In fact there’s a celebrity buzz going on around town because Marie Osmond reportedly has her brand new home in the Parade. Now there are no promises that there will be any celebrity sightings though, but it would be fun to see how the rich and famous live wouldn’t it?

Live Music and the FireHouse Bar and Grill

Both Friday night and Saturday night they’ll have live music at the Firehouse Bar and Grill on 1476 W. Sunset Blvd., St. George. This is a fun little venue, and the food here is something you can’t complain about either, not one bit. The first concert on Friday night is Bubba Sparxxx, an american hip hop artist is best known for his hits Deliverance, Ugly, Heat it Up and Ms. New Booty! It starts at 9 pm and the cost is $15 at the door, certainly worth every penny of that.

Then if you can’t make it to Mr Bubba, then you’ve got tomorrow night featuring Mister HYDE, who brings true rock and roll to live with an adrenaline charged show that will leave your heart pounding. Their unique style of music combined with a fantastic setting makes for a night well worth it. The cover charge at the door is just $5 as well, and the show starts at 9 pm.

Dog Town Half Marathon

To round out all of the events going on this weekend, we had to add on one for a little physical fitness didn’t we? There are three variations available to fun, the half marathon will begin at Telegraph Rd and Foothills Canyon Drive, and then end at Staheli Family Farm. The Double Dog Dare run where you run the race backwards so you’ll start a little earlier and start at Staheli Family Farm, and the run to Telegraph before turning around and ending at the finish line at Stahelis. There’s also a 5k version as well, so look into it to find your perfect race this weekend.

The Beatles Love Songs Tribute – In Mesquite

If you aren’t afraid to head down south to Mesquite then the Casa Blanca will deliver for you as they’ve got a Beatles cover band in town, who are specifically going to be playing love songs the entire time. So if you’re looking for something fun to do with your valentine, then head down to some live Beatles music in Mesquite.
