Cedar City Canyon Campfire Concert Series

If it’s live music and campfires you’re after then head north just a bit to Cedar City, as they’re having their Campfire Concert series at the Cedar Canyon Nature Park. It’s easy to find by just heading up the canyon outside of Cedar City along highway 14. The band that’s playing is Beans and Wheels, and admission is free. It’s hard to beat sitting around a campfire listing to some good tunes.

Documentary Screening

At the Desert Hills High School they’re screening a documentary called “On Dreams of Dixie”, and it goes through 100 years of education in southern Utah. Which should be pretty interesting to see where we’ve come in such a short amount of time.

Casapalooza in Mesquite

Mesquite offers some fun and sun with their Casapalooza event going on this weekend. They even have a Journey tribute band playing poolside at Casablanca’s amazing pool. With some bright lights, DJ’s and a little bit of Journey you’ll have a fantastic time in Mesquite.

Doors open at 7pm with DJ Johnny Utah starting things off right. After he gets things warmed up then lights hits the stage at 8 pm. This will be your second-to-last opportunity to soak in the music poolside for CacaBlanca’s Casapoolooza concert series.

Live Music At Jazzy’s and George’s

Things are happening here in southern Utah, especially live music. At Georges Corner (next to Pizza Factory on the Boulevard) they have a bluegrass band playing tonight.

As well there’s another group playing live music at Jazzy’s Java.

So truly it’s a smorgasbord of live music events all over the place, with options from St George to Cedar City, to Zion.
