Some Facts about the Dixie State University Community Education and Recreation

The Dixie State University Community Education and Recreation is a program that provides a collaborative learning environment that was created by the combined entities of the Washington County School District, the Dixie State University, as well as the City of St. George, Utah.

What is the Program All About?

The program allows the students as well as the community members to make use of the public school beyond the usual school day, including the other locations that are all over the community. Whether you are interested in the foreign language, personal enrichment, scouting merit badges, arts, dance, health and fitness or computers, the program provides a wide variety of non credit enrichment classes as well as community services to all members of the community and the students, regardless of the age.

Participants of the program will be asked to choose classes as well as activities that are designed to satisfy their needs, as well as their desire for self-improvement, recreation, job skills and social interaction.

How to Register for the Program

Registering for the program is easy. All you need to do is to go online and check out the official website of the Dixie State University Community Education and Recreation. Once you are on the site, here are the steps to register:

  • Click the button that says “Sign Up” so you can sign up for a new account.
  • As soon as your account is created, click on the button that says “Log In”.
  • Then choose the tab that says “Register”. Click on the semester that you wish to attend.
  • Look for the course as well as the session that you want to enroll in.
  • Choose the button that says “Register” so you can enroll for the course.

Where to Find More Information about the Program

If you need to know more about the Community Education and Recreation at the Dixie State University, simply go online and check out their website. The website features lots of helpful resources that could answer all your questions and address whatever concerns you may have. On the homepage, you will find tabs to register and other tabs are for Online Catalog, Business of Art, Links, Events, as well as a Contact Page.

Those who already registered for an account will no longer need to click on the “Sign Up” button or click on the tab to “Register”. All they need to do is to refer to the left side of the page and enter their email address and password. Those who forgot their password must click on the “forgot your password” link.

If there are things that are not clear for you or if the information you need is not on the website, click on the “Contact” tab above the site. When you click on the Contact tab, you will be taken to the online contact form, where you need to key in your first name and last name as well as your email address and phone number. Then on the message section, type in the details of your concern and click “Submit”.
