Basic Info About Kayenta and Kayenta Art Village Tourist Attractions

Both Kayenta and the Kayenta art village are special because they offer so much for tourists that decide to visit. At first glance, you might be tempted to believe that nothing is attractive because of the fact that the location is not actually included in many travel packages offered by the big agencies. However, this does not mean that Kayenta and the Kayenta art village should not be included on the list if you decide to visit the area.

The first thing that comes to mind when talking about Kayenta and the Kayenta art village is the fact that the weather is incredible and people here love to live outdoors. You can simply visit some of the very nice art galleries, go shopping, grab some joe at local coffee shops or bathe in the sun. No matter what you choose, you will like it.

If you are visiting the area, we recommend that you think about visiting the Coyote Gulch Art Village, which is world renowned, Cabaret Theatre, Xetava Gardens Café, the swimming pools, Horse Corrals, the Tennis Courts and the Meditation and Walking Labyrinth.

There are not many places around the world that manage to make a swimming pool one of the main tourist attractions in the region. When you go to Kayenta and the Kayenta art village, it is basically impossible not to stop by the wonderful outdoor pool. Its design is incredible and even if there are only 2 lanes available, it is more than enough for you to have a wonderful time. Just picture swimming on your back and looking at the incredible landscapes in the region! Such a moment is priceless.

It is true that most of the attractions are inside Kayenta and the Kayenta art village but there are also many other things that you can do. The entire area around the town can be visited and you will adore what you see. You get a chance to see birds, plants and animals in a natural habitat that is rare to find in other locations.

Horse lovers will particularly love Kayenta. You get a chance to ride through the desert on special guided trips that are a delight and it does not matter if you are a beginner as professionals are there to help you out. Alternatively, you can to go biking on the same trails.

What stands out is the attitude of the people that live in Kayenta. All tourists are warmly welcomed and we could not find any negative thing to say about the village. It seems that everyone that visits has a really great time. You would be surprised to see how few such locations are in the world. Fortunately, this is one of them.

You can decide how long to stay in Kayenta but we do recommend that you spend at least 2 nights here. A weekend getaway trip is perfect. This is due to the fact that it is basically impossible to experience all that the region can offer in just one day.
